CANTINA DO TIO
Cantina do Tio is a school cafeteria located at IFSC, known among students for its friendly service and the close relationship built with Augusto, affectionately referred to as the “canteen uncle.”
The visual identity project aimed to translate this sense of familiarity into a clear and consistent graphic language. The core concept centers on humanizing the brand by using an illustration of the “uncle’s” face as the primary symbol, reinforcing the real story behind the name while creating an element of immediate recognition.
The identity adopts a minimal and friendly aesthetic, with a color palette of brown, orange, and yellow tones inspired by items commonly found on the menu, such as coffee, cookies, baked goods, and melted cheese. The result is a visually simple, warm, and memorable brand that reflects the cafeteria’s outgoing, relaxed, and welcoming personality.
